The library has multi-stage puzzle geocaches hidden inside several of its branches.
Geocaching is a real-world, outdoor treasure hunting game using GPS-enabled devices. Participants navigate to a specific set of GPS coordinates and then attempt to find the geocache (container) hidden at that location.

DPL Series Geocaches
The library’s geocaches are “multi-stage, puzzle geocaches,” which means the listed GPS coordinates will get you to the front door of one of our libraries. From there, you will need to solve easy puzzles to discover a new set of GPS coordinates. The new set of coordinates will guide you to the second (and final) stop on your hunt where you will find the prize. If you find all three of our geocaches, you will have visited all six of our branches.
Please note: geocaches are only available during library open hours.
