Deschutes Public Library is pleased to welcome Life Coach, Carol Delmonico for a program titled “From Selfish To Self Care,” on Wednesday, September 21 at 6:30 p.m. in the Library Admin Conferene Room at 507 NW Wall Street in Bend.
Delmonico, who was trained by the Coach Training Alliance and Wellcoaches, has been coaching as a career for almost two years. “Although,” says Delmonico, “once I started the program, I realized I’ve been coaching most of my life.” She says that coaching is good for people who know what they want and need support, encouragement, and perspective to get there. The techniques Delmonico uses are good for people who want tools to help them reach new goals and are ready to fully embrace their life. She says people seek out life coaches to help with a wide variety of life’s challenges including, weight loss, landing a new job, establishing an exercise routine and finding the ever elusive balance between work and home life.
“My passion is working with women,” says Delmonico. “I work to support them as they balance their lives so that they are the happiest and healthiest they can be!” Her online blog, http://intobalance.blogspot.com/, features weekly features on topics of interest to Delmonico’s clients. The August 1 entry titled, “Beliefs,” describes how our belief system, developed from life experiences, can sometimes hold us back from communicating clearly and living a happier life.
During her program, Delmonico will provide a few basic skills necessary for healthy self care. For more information about this or other library programs, please call 312-1032.
