Local Singer-Songwriter Steve Neth Plays La Pine

Local singer and songwriter Steve Neth will be playing his original alternative country music with a high desert twist on Thursday, June 19th at the La Pine Public Library at 6:30 p.m. This program is free and open to the public.
Steve is a true-blue central Oregonian and says, "This isn't big production Nashville country with 48 tracks, brought to you by Chevy trucks. This is the real deal--smart, well-crafted, back porch kinds of songs from a fella who knows what's going on."
Steve has lived on the central Oregon desert all of his life. His great-grandparents and grandparents homesteaded here at the turn of the last century. He adds, "Even though the old folks finally starved out and moved to town, it's the open sky and scent of Juniper that gives me my sense of home."
