Come discover your inner artist at a series of creative workshops taught by local artist Paula Bullwinkel. Each month, Ms. Bullwinkel will lead a workshop inspired by and based on a different famous artist. To kick off the series in September, the class will feature French artist Henri Matisse, specifically his cut-out collage art.

The class will be held on Tuesday, September 23rd, in the Brooks Room of the Bend Public Library at 6:00 p.m. and will repeat on September 27th at the Sunriver Area Public Library at 1:00 p.m. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis, but we are limited to 15 participants. Supplies are included and is free and open to the public. Everyone is welcome, from beginners to professionals.

Paula Bullwinkel has a master's degree in art education with a minor in painting. She has participated in numerous one-woman and group shows in New York City and the East Coast area. For 18 years, she was a professional fashion and portrait photographer for magazines in NYC and London. Paula believes artmaking is best approached with a willingness to take risks, and a keen attitude towards the enjoyment of invention.
