Screen Movies as Part of Elections-R-Us Series

Deschutes Public Library is pleased to announce two movie screenings as part of the Elections-R-Us: Where We Were – Where We Are series. Throughout the month of October, Deschutes County residents are invited to explore the political landscape from a historical perspective as well as examine current political trends. The series will be held at selected branch libraries throughout the month. The programs are free and open to the public.
The screenings are scheduled as follows:
• Wag The Dog
October 14, 6:00 pm
McMenamins Old St. Francis School
Screen the Barry Levinson political comedy starring Dustin Hoffman and Robert De Niro.
(Minors are permitted but only with a parent or guardian that is over 21).
• All The President’s Men
October 16, 5:00 pm
Sisters Movie House
Screen the academy award winning film starring Dustin Hoffman and Robert Redford.
