Professor Greg Lyons Discusses Byzantine Art & Artchitecture of Italy at the Bend Branch

COCC Professor Greg Lyons returns to the Bend Library to discuss and show slides of examples of Byzantine art and architecture in Italy. The presentation will take place on Saturday, March 7th at 3:00 p.m. in the Brooks Room of the Bend Public Library. This program is free and open to the public.

Professor Lyons lived in Italy for three months in 2004, whiere he taught a course on the Renaissance, among others. He considers himself an avid student of Italian language and culture, and has since returned to Italy twice and has another Italian adventure planned for this summer. He has served as the statewide coordinator for the Oregon International Education Consortium of community colleges for the past two years.
