The mission of the Deschutes River Conservancy is to restore streamflow and improve water quality. Since the DRC was established in 1996, they have been actively working on river restoration projects throughout this region. To date, the organization has restored over 160 cubic feet per second (cfs) of streamflow to our local rivers and streams.
Scott McCaulou, the program director of the DRC, has been with the organization since its early days. He was instrumental to establishing some of the innovative programs that the DRC uses to restore streamflow. Bea Armstrong is the marketing and communications director for the DRC. She has been with the organization since the fall of 2003.
