Former volunteer with the US Forest Service, Pete Deal offers insight and information into the wonders of the universe at two programs during the month of August. On Friday, August 21 at 12:00 noon, Pete will be discussing the mystery of black holes at the Redmond Public Library. On Thursday, August 27 at 12:00 noon, he will be getting us more acquainted with our home, The Milky Way at the Sisters Public Library. Both presentations are part of the Celebrate Oregon Authors series honoring acclaimed science fiction/fantasy author Ursula LeGuin.
