Exploring the Deschutes Public Library Catalog
Redmond - Saturday, 9:00 AM
Learn all you need to know to successfully locate materials at the Deschutes Public Library. Place a hold and access your library account in this informative class. Prerequisites: A library card, “Getting Started on the Computer” or familiarity with the Windows operating system, and “Introduction to the Internet” or familiarity with Internet Explorer (or other browser software).

Saturday Stories Story Time

Stories, songs, rhymes, and crafts for ages 3 - 5.

Artists' Reception
Redmond - Saturday, 1:00 PM
Members of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Oregon and Redmond high school students will be discussing their works currently on display in the library. Refreshments will be served.

Do It Yourself Cold Frame
Sisters - Sunday, 1:30 PM
Get an early start on the growing season! Local do it yourself genius, Fred Olson, helps you learn to build a cold frame.

Second Sunday:  David Biespiel
Bend - Sunday, 2:00 PM
Second Sunday in March hosts Portland writer and poet David Biespiel. Biespiel divides his teaching time among Oregon State University, Pacific Lutheran University and at The Attic Writers' Workshop in Portland. He is the author of "Shattering Air", "Wild Civility" and his newly published book, "The Book of Men and Women", a collection of Pacific Northwest Poetry. An open mic will follow the reading.
