Myrlie Evers-Williams and Kathryn Stockett on KPOV 106.7 FM

Myrlie Evers-Williams, the widow of civil rights activist Medgar Evers, and author Kathryn Stockett will be guests on KPOV's 'Open Air' program on Wednesday, April 7th at 5:00 PM.  To listen, tune your radio to 106.7 FM or visit the KPOV website and click the "Listen Live" button on the left side of the page.  An audio archive of the show will be available on the library's A Novel Idea... Read Together site after the program airs.
 
The New York Times bestseller The Help is the A Novel Idea... Read together selection for 2010. Author Kathryn Stockett will visit Central Oregon on Friday, May 7 at the Tower Theatre in Bend and on Saturday, May 8 at the Redmond High School auditorium. Tickets will become available on April 17 at your local library.
