Second Sunday: 72 Sundays of Words

Posted By:  Lisa McGean
Date Posted:  9/5/2010

Come join the celebration as Second Sunday turns six years old. Local writers will read a selection from past Second Sunday guests, followed by an open mic and birthday cake. The party will take place on Sunday, September 12th, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Brooks Room of the Bend Public Library. This event is free and open to the public.
Over the past 72 Sundays of poetry and prose, Second Sunday has hosted an impressive roster of Northwest writers.   Carlos Reyes, David Biespiel, Dorianne Laux, Eleanor Berry, George Venn, Joseph Millar, Ralph Salisbury and Paulann Peterson are just a few of the many unforgettable presenters that have graced the Second Sunday stage. On August 26th, local writers are invited to celebrate 6 years of bringing good words to Bend by reading a work of one of our many contributors as well as one of their own creations.
More information about this program and other Second Sunday programs on the Second Sunday webpage.
