During February and March, Sue Favinger Smith is the featured artist in Silent Reading Room at the Redmond Public Library.

Sue’s paintings have been exhibited in major national shows and she has received numerous awards and distinctions for her work. Summer Storm Coming, accepted into the American Women Artists National Juried Show and Creek, Early Snow, accepted into the “Best of America” juried show of the National Oil and Acrylics Painters Society will be on display in the Redmond Library Exhibit.

Sue also authored Ancient Wisdom: Emerging Artist, a comprehensive guide for the aspiring artist written from an artist's perspective and experience. She has donated a copy of her book to the Deschutes Public Library collection.
