The Friends of the Redmond Library Art Committee is featuring an exhibit of Chinese Brush Paintings by local artist, Bill Searle during April and May. The one man show is featured in the Silent Reading Room of the Redmond Public Library.
Bill is an avid enthusiast of art, nature, life and the evolution of consciousness. Being a spiritual seeker, Bill developed an interest in eastern cultures and philosophies that drew him to the art of Chinese Brush Painting. Using Chinese brush techniques, Bill captures the essence and spirit of his subject while maintaining a simplicity that balances interest in the subject and meditative spaciousness.
Being a craftsman as well as an artist, Bill creates custom frames and matting for his artwork.
