An exhibition related to the centennial celebration of women's suffrage in Oregon is now on display in the stairwell of the downtown Bend branch. The exhibition features six informative and illustrated panels depicting the history of women's suffrage in Oregon.

Entitled "Votes for Women! The Oregon Story," the exhibition is hosted by the Des Chutes Historical Museum in conjunction with the Deschutes Public Library. It was created by the Oregon women's History Consortium and funded in part by the Oregon Commission for Women, the Oregon Heritage Commission, and the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department. "Votes for Women!" will be on display from 10-24-12 through the end of the year.
