Rick Yancey, author of the popular Alfred Kropp trilogy and other titles for teen readers, is visiting Central Oregon March 11-13. He will be touring area middle schools, speaking to students about inspiration and the writing process.

Participating schools are: Cascade Middle School, High Desert Middle School, Sky View Middle School, Terrebonne Community School, Tumalo Community School, Obsidian Middle School, Three Rivers Middle School, and LaPine Middle School.

Additionally, there will be An Evening with the Author event on Tuesday, March 12 in the Brooks Room at the Downtown Bend Library. This event is open to the public and geared for ages teen through adult. Registration is suggested and can be done via the link above.
