A lot of great books get read by the Novel Idea selection committee before a final decision is reached. It’s become obvious to the committee that people are almost as interested in what books were read that weren’t selected as what book is finally picked.

Over the course of four months the committee reads and discusses more than 30 titles. It’s a book club on hyper drive! Arriving at a final decision is never easy but the journey through so many great books is always a grand adventure.
