Thanks to our friends at LibraryThing, you can use this new bookmarklet to instantly check whether or not the Deschutes Public Library owns a title while viewing a book in an online bookstore or other website. It will check all editions of the title, not just the edition you're currently viewing.

How do I get it?

To get the "Check Library" bookmarklet, just drag the blue button to your browser's "bookmarks" or "favorites" bar.


How do I use it?

To use it, go to a book webpage and click the bookmarklet that is now in your browser's bookmarks bar.


What does it look like?

Click the "Check Library" bookmarklet in your toolbar and a box will appear on the page and automatically search the library's catalog. Click on a title in the search results to go to that item in the online catalog.
