Deschutes Public Library will host a free workshop on finding funders for nonprofit organizations on December 9th from 9 am to 11 am at the downtown Bend branch. The workshop is entitled Introduction to Finding Funders with Foundation Directory Online.

Registration is limited. Advance registration is required through the online events calendar.

Introduction to Finding Funders will be led by Nate Pedersen, Community Librarian at the downtown Bend branch. The workshop is a guide to searching the Foundation Directory Online, the Foundation Center’s top-tier database providing information on more than 100,000 grantmakers and more than a million grant records. Pedersen will offer tips on how to effectively search the extensive database for funding sources for your nonprofit organization. A 90 minute guided demonstration will be followed by 30 minutes for questions.
