The do-it-yourself craze found a broad new audience with the maker movement and with the flourishing of websites such as Pinterest and Etsy. In December Deschutes Public Library explores ways that you can Know D.I.Y.—from beekeeping to creating a little free library, and making lip balms to assembling holiday gifts in your kitchen. Programs are free and open to all.
