Central Oregon’s winter landscape and crisp night skies can spark creativity in photographers looking to capture a beautiful scene. Novice and experienced photographers can learn how to make the most of these opportunities when professional photographer Mike Jensen leads a photography workshop on Wednesday, December 11, at 2:00 p.m. at the Sunriver Library. This event is free and open to all; no registration is required.

In this interactive presentation, Jensen will discuss winter and night sky photography as he shares a selection of images from around the local region and describes how and when they were made. People attending this presentation are encouraged to bring their cameras and their questions.

Mike Jensen is past President of the La Pine Chamber of Commerce and the Mixed Media Chair and Webmaster of the Cascade Camera Club. In addition to photography, Mike and his wife Cindy own and operate JensenOne Marketing & Photography, a small business supporting small businesses with website design as well as graphic and layout design. Mike teaches photography and Photoshop through Central Oregon Community College as well as the La Pine Parks & Recreation District.
