The Friends of the Redmond Branch Library is pleased to present an exhibition of fine art photography which features seven Central Oregon photographers whose works were juried into our “For the Love of Central Oregon 2013” exhibition. “Photography 2014: A Featured Artist Exhibition” will be available for viewing from January 4 through February 14, 2014.
The “Photography 2014” exhibition is an annual event for the Redmond Branch Library. However, this will be the first year that the Friends Art Committee will highlight the works of specific photographers. The featured photographers are: John Hart, Kay Larkin, Scott McKenzie, Tim Parks, Jill L. Tucker, Gary Wing and Linda Ziegenhagen. Each of these artists will present between five and seven photographs representing their unique views. The remaining areas of the library will be used to display the works of other photographers from throughout Central Oregon.
The Friends are also pleased to be presenting a solo exhibition by published photographer, Cory O’Neill, in the library’s Silent Reading Room. O’Neill, whose works received recognition in the
Outdoor Photographer’s article “Modern Landscape Masters,” will be exhibiting during the months of December 2013 and January 2014.
A portion of the art sale goes to the Friends of the Redmond Branch Library which supports library programs.
The Redmond Branch Library is located at 827 SW Deschutes Ave., Redmond, OR 97756. Library hours are Monday – Friday: 10 – 6 PM, Tuesday: 10 – 8 PM and Saturday: 10 – 5 PM.
