Da Chara Duo Performs at Redmond Library

Start weekend at the Redmond Library for music and refreshments. The performance by
Da Chara Duo starts at 4:30 p.m. The presentation is free and open to the public.
Kimberly and Steve have been playing together as Da Chara Duo since 2011. With a variety of influences Da Chara explores a varitety of musical genres, including Celtic, jazz and world music. Kimberly, who brings flute, sax and vocal skills to the duo, studied music at Linn College. Steve, originally from Boston, adds over 50 years of guitar experience and vocals to the mix. “People can expect to hear everything during the performance,” said Steve. “Celtic...classical music....Carole King....the Beatles...Mary Bergin....Wes Montgomery...everything.”
