Know Home We are the fortunate ones, the proud residents of Deschutes County, lucky enough to call Central Oregon home. With phenomenal natural beauty and fascinating history, our slice of Oregon has a lot to offer.

From considering the important role that a downtown plays in a town’s identity to getting to know some of Central Oregon’s most colorful characters, Deschutes Public Library invites you to discover (or rediscover) what makes our Central Oregon home extraordinary.
