The Colors of Oregon Art Exhibition

Sean Baker WorkThe Friends of the Redmond Library is pleased to present “The Colors of Oregon” their Second Annual Juried Art Exhibition in the Redmond Library. The exhibition runs from August 9, 2014 through September 12, 2014. While viewing the exhibition, the public is encouraged to vote for the “Viewer Choice” award from the works on display.

The Friends Art Committee is delighted to have Linda Gilmore Hill as the 2014 Juror. Linda Gilmore Hill came to Redmond in 1985. She has owned two businesses and is semi-retired from the American Cancer Society. Linda is a working artist with thirty plus years of experience. She is presently a Commissioner and Chairperson of RCAPP, Redmond Commission for Art in Public Places, and is actively involved in projects which serve to beautify and improve life in the City of Redmond.

A reception for this exhibition will be held on August 16, 2014 from 6:00 – 8:30 PM, in the library. The Friends are thrilled that local jazz duo Da Chara will be performing and featuring centerpiece flowers designed by Kay Pearson from Michael’s: Art & Crafts.
