123 Andrés is a family concert full of joyful sounds, bilingualism, and high-energy singing and dancing in Spanish and English.
Andres Salguero is considered "a rockstar for little language learners." A native of Bogota, Colombia, Andres demonstrates a passion for music that he has felt since age 8. He plays multiple instruments, and received the Parent's Choice Gold Award in 2016. The Boston Globe described his bilingual album as "joyous," and said it "hopscotches around the Spanish-speaking world seamlessly switching from bachata and bolero to mariachi and vallenato." Andres holds a doctorate in music from the University of Missouri, and has performed from Washington, D.C. to California. All ages are invited to this amazing concert that will be sure to invite participation and joy. July 21 at 10:30 a.m. on the Redmond Library Lawn. Bring a blanket or chair.
