Drive-Thru Service at the Redmond Library

Using drive-thru service at the Redmond Library is convenient and easy for returning materials and picking up holds.

HOURS
Materials return: Open 24 / 7

Holds pick-up: Monday–Saturday, 10:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Sunday, 1–5:00 p.m.

DROPPING OFF RETURNS

The drive-thru chute for returns is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Simply drive up, hold your return(s) near the (1) on the return chute to unlock it, and return your items in the slot marked (2). Note that the drive-thru return can only accept items like books, DVDs, and magazines. Large items like Book Club Kits, Curriculum Crates, and Library of Things materials need to be returned inside of the library.

PICKING UP HOLDS

The drive-thru window for holds pick-up is open Monday–Saturday: 10:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., and Sunday, 1–5:00 p.m.

Holds that you want to pick up at the drive-thru window must first be reserved using Redmond DRIVE-THRU as your pick-up location when you are reserving your hold in the library’s online catalog. (Note: if you choose just Redmond as your pick-up location, you will pick up your holds inside of the library.)

Once you are notified that your hold(s) is ready at the Redmond DRIVE-THRU location, simply enter the drive-thru lane, which is located on Deschutes Avenue (south side of the library), and approach the window. Ring the bell to let staff know you’re there, and a library staff member will assist you at the window. Please have your library card ready so we can check out your items for you
