Thank you so much for your interest in volunteering for Deschutes Public Library. Opportunities to volunteer in person at the library are currently very limited and when we can, we will invite existing volunteers to fill positions first. Unfortunately, we do not anticipate accepting new volunteers until September at the earliest.

Volunteers enrich our library in many ways. They bring enthusiasm, added talent, and fresh perspective to the library. Volunteers contribute to sound working relationships with recognized agencies as well as with community groups and organizations. The countless hours of volunteer service represent not only a tremendous monetary value to our libraries, but an immeasurable value in service to our local and global communities.
