Tax Information for Central Oregon

Tax Aid

In past years, the library has partnered with the AARP Tax Aid Program to provide tax filing services at the Downtown Bend Library. Due to the pandemic, this very popular service will not be offered at the library in 2021.

At this time the local Tax Aide Program will begin scheduling appointments at the Bend and Redmond NeighborImpact offices. They are still unsure if they will be able to do these appointments in-person, but want to get individuals scheduled if they are given the green light to move forward. Please call the following numbers to schedule an appointment:

Bend NeighborImpact, 541-604-2231
Appointments available Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
They will begin taking appointments on Monday, February 8th

Redmond NeighborImpact, 541-526-3834
Appointments available Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
They will begin taking appointments on Tuesday, February 16th

For additional information go the Cash Oregon website. Click on the link “Get Tax Help” to find information about appointment locations or telephone assistance. It is also possible to use their free online filing service. On the Get Tax Help page, click on the link “File Taxes Online” to get started.
